Provide high quality assessment and therapeutic services to individuals, couples, families, and groups. Addictions Counselors/Therapists provide outpatient and case management chemical dependency services to chemically addicted and/or dually diagnosed (CD/MI) clients.

Other responsibilities include:

  • Provide 100 hours of direct services per month within CSO-approved clinical scope of practice.
  • Maintain CEUs required for continued license/certification.
  • Maintain credentials with all applicable managed care contracts by completing the necessary paperwork and returning it on a timely basis.

 

$36,000-42,000/year

Job Requirements

Masters Degree in Behavioral Health or related field (MSW, MS, MA, PhD, PsyD.). 

Licensed Clinical Addiction Counselor (LCAC) preferred. 

Must be eligible for licensure if you do not already have it: Licensed Clinical Addiction Counselor (LCAC); Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW); Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT); Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC).

Pay range varies depneding on degree, licensure status, and experience.
