Job Description

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for documenting client progress notes
  • Manage inside and outside referrals
  • Network with other providers
  • Organize services for clients
  • Maintain integrity of the program
  • Coordination of care
  • Training of staff
  • Responsible for maintaining the space assigned to the program including cleanliness, materials, snacks etc.
  • Assistance with screening and testing as needed

 

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Ability to work as a team member as well as independently
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to network with other providers and community services
  • Understanding of state services and referral process
  • Ability to teach using evidence based practice
  • Ability to participate in grant writing
  • Knowledge of best evidence based practices in autism
  • Above average communication skills
  • Ability to coordinate services

 

Job Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree or higher.
  • Certificate or Professional License: ABA or Play Project Certificate preferred.
  • Experience: Prefer two (2) years' experience working with people on the Autism spectrum.
  • Valid driver’s license and active liability insurance.
  • Satisfactory results from criminal background check.
  • Must be a minimum 21 years of age.
