Job Description



This position provides day-to-day oversight, management, and supervision of the Center’s transitional facilities and Bowen Center owned housing units. This position also includes performing/overseeing the duties of the Center’s State Hospital Liaison for adult patients. This entails all Center admissions and discharges, as well as reporting requirements to the State Hospital system regarding adult patients. Responsibilities may include:

  • Ensure that the Transitional Program employ clinical evidence-based practice models as determined by the Senior Vice President of Clinical Services
  • Create and oversee annual budgets for each facility
  • Ensure that all Transitional staff is maintaining service hours and corporate compliance standards for billing of required services
  • Ensure that all Transitional facilities have adequate clinical supervision for programming
  • Develop policies and procedures for Transitional Living consistent with the Center’s mission and values and sound mental health practices
  • Facility all placement meetings for admission and discharges into and out of Transitional Living faculties
  • Serves as liaison to other community agencies within the service area, as well as other throughout the state, to provide advocacy for clients and continuity of care



Job Requirements

Education: BA/BS required.

Training: That which is necessary to have obtained the highest level of education;CPI/TCI, CPR as applicable to the position.

Experience:  Minimum of 2 years of experience working with mentally ill.

License/Certification:  None required.
