Bowen Recovery Center

 

The Addictions Counselor will provide direct addictions counseling and case management services to clients at the Opioid Treatment Center. The selected counselor will perform the intake evaluations for new clients entering the program. Additional related tasks may include the following:

  • Identify individual recovery goals and develop individualized treatment plan, update on a regular basis and identify progress and achievement with treatment goals
  • Meet regular counseling requirements or exceed counseling requirements
  • Responsible for accurate, timely and confidential documentation in client EMR
  • Assist with obtain all necessary consents
  • Make all necessary referrals when services are needed beyond what OTP provides
  • Engage in case management services in an effort to provide comprehensive care and support

 

$36,000 - $42,000/year

Job Requirements

Education: Bachelor’s degree required (Master's degree preferred) in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or other related field.

Certificate or Professional License: LAC, LCAC, LCSW, LMFT, LMHC or CADACC II (or working toward CADACC II)

Experience: Prefer two (2) years in a mental health or addictions setting.

Pay is dependent on experience and credentials.
