Job Description



The Talent Acquisition Coordinator is responsible for recruiting and evaluating job candidates to fill open positions at the Bowen Center. The Talent Acquisition Coordinator will coordinate and implement college recruiting initiatives in addition to practicing effective sourcing methods to identify and attract the strongest candidates. This coordinator will be a specialist within the applicant tracking system and should be a quick adopter to other tech related software and applications.

The selected TA professional will work directly with the Hiring Supervisors, and should be prepared to collaborate within a dynamic and fast paced team of recruiters and onboarding specialists to develop/implement recruiting plans and strategies.

Some duties and responsibilities will include:

  • Continually be obsessed with the Candidate Experience!
  • Screening resumes/applications
  • Sourcing for candidates via social media and resume databases.
  • Work with hiring managers to find solutions to their recruitment and hiring needs.
  • Conduct regular follow-up with managers to determine the effectiveness of recruiting.
  • Research and recommend new sources for active and passive candidate recruiting.
  • Train new hiring managers on candidate workflow processes.
  • Place employment ads in newspapers, on web sites, at colleges, etc.


$35,000 - $40,000/year

Job Requirements

Education: Bachelor's degree or higher in Human Resources, Marketing, Communication, Business or other related degree.

Training/Experience: 1 – 2 years of human resources, recruiting or staffing experience strongly preferred.
